1: The Wayne C. Henderson Music Festival and Guitar Competition is “Always the third Saturday in June, Rain or Shine!” You don’t want to miss this festival. Every 3rd Saturday in June, hundreds of people from all across the nation (and the world for that matter) congregate to the Picnic Area here in GHSP to listen to traditional mountain and southern style music. There are food vendors, crafts, and festivities for any and everyone (and with easy walking distance from all the boulders in the Picnic Area.

2: The Grayson Highlands Fall Festival is on the last full weekend of September every year, just as climbing conditions are really feeling perfect. The Fall Festival is everything you would expect and more. Food, music, crafts, and activities that are fun for all. Be sure to pencil in a climbing trip on this weekend!
